Our banking client is looking for a capable PM to assist on their upcoming Office Relocation Project.
Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for managing all phases of the office renovation project. This role includes managing relationships with main contractor, subcontractors, suppliers, and end user. Ensure that the project is completed on time, within scope and within budget. Time management, cost control, safety, quality assurance, and resolving all issues and conflicts that arise to produce quality work, in accordance with the project contract documents.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Compare and analysis vendor/subcontractor bid-day quotes and proposals.
- Communicate with main contractor, subcontractors and vendors as per project requirements.
- Conduct/attend on regular project meeting with project management team.
- Request, provide and process submittals, RFIs, shop drawing for project management team review.
- Monitoring project progress and present for review on time.
- Request/create procurement log for subcontractor and vendor material(s)/equipment.
- Communicate and discuss all changes from project management team. Review for conflicts and changes, update internal schedule and provide further look-ahead.
- Communicate schedule changes to subcontractors/vendors. Determine needed resources (manpower/material/equipment). Track schedule and advise of cost impacts or roadblocks.
- Review and coordinate with end user requirement.
Requirement and Qualifications
- Education and Certifications: Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Interior Design. PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of project management experience in commercial renovation, corporate fit-out, or interior design.
- Soft Skills: Excellent conflict resolution, negotiation, and cross-departmental communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software and reading floor plans/technical drawings.
*Prefer with knowledge for the network infrastructure cabling work and network hardware installation.
