Position Description
The CSI TechOps team is a core division of the CSI IT Department, providing operational support for applications and infrastructure. It comprises various Application TechOps teams supporting business and internal systems, and multiple Infrastructure TechOps teams managing platform services, networks, databases, and command center operations.
The TechOps Project Manager manages TechOps-initiated projects and coordinates activities across TechOps teams.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Manage TechOps initiatives/projects that enhance system stability, performance, security, and compliance, covering planning, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, and status reporting.
- Coordinate activities across Application and Infrastructure TechOps teams, including system and policy reviews, BCP coordination, and budget tracking.
- Coordinate internal teams in HK and overseas, vendors, and Headquarter (HQ) IT in Mainland China to ensure effective project execution and timely delivery.
- Run project meetings and report project status, risks, and issues to IT Management and TechOps Leads.
- Gather and analyze requirements and propose fit-for-purpose technical solutions.
- Maintain project and technical documentation for implementation and operational reference.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline(s).
- 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in project management and solution implementation, preferably within a financial institution.
- Knowledge of contract management, business management, design thinking, Agile methodologies, FinTech, Automation and AI‑enabled tools is an advantage.
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently under minimal supervision, with a strong solution‑thinking mindset.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and presentation skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
