Job Purpose
The primary role of the Relationship Manager is to build trust and value-added relationships with key clients within the territory they manage. Relationship Managers are considered a key point person that can speak on a strategic level with their assigned customers and represent all aspects of ICE Data Services. RM's are measured on revenue retention and growth with the goal of strengthening and enhancing long term client relationships.

The primary role of the Relationship Manager is to build trust and value-added relationships with key clients within the territory they manage. Relationship Managers are considered a key point person that can speak on a strategic level with their assigned customers and represent all aspects of ICE Data Services. RM's are measured on revenue retention and growth with the goal of strengthening and enhancing long term client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing all revenue streams across ICE Data Services' full portfolio of products and services.
- Accountable for maintaining and expanding the existing revenue base while proactively mitigating risks and preventing revenue erosion within assigned accounts.
- Develop and nurture relationships across all client organization levels, including C-suite executives.
- Lead strategic account planning and take ownership of complex contract renegotiations.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, collaborating with the sales team in closing deals.
- Service as a key coordinator of internal resources to ensure successful execution of client initiatives and effective resolution of issues.
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience working within the financial services industry
- 5+ years of client relationship experience
- Self-driven, motivated and proactive
- A client-centric, advisory type mentality (as opposed to purely transactional account management)
- Business and financial written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese are essential to manage relationship with external stakeholders
