Your new role

• Support the daily processing, booking, and life cycle management of securities borrowing and lending transactions, including returns and recalls.
• Monitor, investigate, and resolve operational exceptions in a timely and controlled manner.
• Perform reconciliations, control checks, and data validations to ensure accuracy and completeness of processing.
• Produce regular management reporting and operational metrics to support business oversight and decision-making.
• Monitor inventory positions and assist with collateral and exposure management activities.
• Identify opportunities to streamline operational workflows and enhance process efficiency.
• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions, reporting tools, and dashboards to reduce manual effort and improve controls.
• Collaborate with operations, trading, technology, and other stakeholders to support process improvements and technology initiatives.
• Contribute to process documentation, operational procedure reviews, and continuous improvement programmes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience within Securities Finance, Operations, Middle Office, Settlements, or Capital Markets Operations.
• Solid understanding of securities borrowing and lending products and operational workflows is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI, Excel VBA, or similar data analysis and automation tools.
• Demonstrated experience in automating operational processes, reporting, and workflow improvements.
• Ability to work effectively across business and technology teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
