About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineering Leader to drive enterprise testing strategies and champion test automation within a mission-critical financial ecosystem. In this senior-level mandate, you will own the overarching quality assurance lifecycle, architect scalable automation frameworks, and integrate cutting-edge AI-driven testing methodologies. Acting as a strategic bridge between software development, business stakeholders, and operations, you will ensure the flawless delivery, resilience, and regulatory compliance of high-stakes financial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Direct the end-to-end enterprise test strategy, comprehensively defining testing phases, scope, and operational deliverables. Formulate long-term resource capacity plans and manage strict test schedules aligned with overarching business milestones.
2. Spearhead the adoption and continuous evolution of advanced test automation frameworks to accelerate delivery efficiency. Actively explore and integrate innovative AI/ML methodologies to maximize test coverage and drastically improve defect detection.
3. Take authoritative ownership of all testing activities, meticulously governing functional, non-functional, regression, soak, and performance testing phases. Ensure all enterprise releases meet uncompromising quality and stability standards prior to production.
4. Produce transparent, high-level QA metrics and data-driven dashboards for executive management. Collaborate seamlessly with system developers, UAT teams, and business units to continuously review and elevate the quality of project deliverables.
5. Cultivate a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture. Provide hands-on technical guidance, foster innovation, and offer strategic mentorship to a dedicated team of QA engineers.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
2. 15 years of Quality Assurance experience, including at least 5 years in a dedicated supervisory, team leadership, or IT project management capacity. Must have proven system testing experience within the banking or financial services sector.
3. Strong technical knowledge of complex financial messaging standards and large-scale payment/clearing systems is highly preferred.
4. Deep proficiency in modern test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium). Hands-on familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and enterprise DevOps practices. Practical experience with AI/ML tools (such as TensorFlow or PyTorch) applied to testing is a distinct advantage.
5. Extensive experience driving quality assurance within fast-paced Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
6. Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese is required; proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage.
