Ashford Benjamin has been engaged by a leading fintech that is seeking a Strategic Retail Credit Risk Specialists to join their teams in Hong Kong.
This is a strategic Risk Management role focused on reviewing, evaluating, and studying retail credit risk models while advising on ongoing enhancement projects. Rather than a traditional risk management/ model validation role, this position acts as a key bridge between the business and risk functions. Your day-to-day will involve partnering closely with business units on the ongoing development of credit model strategies, evaluating credit risk models, and translating insights into actionable business execution. You will also monitor related regulatory and market developments closely, collaborating directly with business, risk modelling and credit teams to ensure implementation across retail portfolios.
To be considered, candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in retail lending business, retail credit risk management, risk modelling, or credit strategy, backed by a solid understanding of credit risk methodologies, credit risk model, regulatory requirements, and strong commercial acumen.
