We are seeking a proactive and analytical individual to join our Research Department. The role offers excellent exposure to global markets. The successful candidate will join our fundamental research team as Technology Research Analyst, with the potential to develop into a specialist technology portfolio manager within the organization.

Job duties:

• Conduct fundamental research, including analyzing industry trends and company performance, and produce research reports on the technology sector and companies under coverage;

• Build and maintain industry, company and valuation models;

• Engage with company management, sell-side analysts, and industry experts to gather insights;

• Collaborate with portfolio managers to support investment decisions and generate investment ideas, with the opportunity to progress into a specialist portfolio manager role in the future;

• Participate in departmental projects as required.

Job requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance or technology related field from a recognized university;

• 3-5 years of experience in bottom-up equity research within the technology sector;

• Prior experience as a research analyst on the buy-side or sell-side is preferred;

• Experience covering US technology companies is an advantage;

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese, with fluency in Mandarin;

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of independent thinking, while also being an effective team player.
