Job Description


Software Engineer III leads the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high reliability and efficiency through collaboration, innovative solutions, and rigorous code standards.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Advances the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications and systems, with a focus on modern web applications using React, Next.js, Node.js, and Vite.
• Drives the modification, documentation, and maintenance of software to ensure high reliability, availability, and responsive user experiences.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to address advanced technical challenges and optimize application performance, scalability, accessibility, and frontend architecture.
• Analyzes system requirements and delivers innovative technical solutions to enhance software quality, usability, and efficiency.
• Develops reusable UI components, integrates RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and implements responsive, accessible, and performant web applications using modern frontend frameworks and tooling.
• Completes code reviews and automated testing to maintain high-quality code standards.
• Collaborates and co-creates effectively with teams in product, UX/UI design, and the business to align technology initiatives with business objectives.

Qualifications

Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or comparable experience.
• Knowledge of distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, NoSQL and relational databases.
• Knowledge of the core tools used in the planning, analyzing, crafting, building, testing, configuring, and maintaining of assigned application(s).
• Familiarity with modern frontend technologies including React, Next.js, Node.js, Vite, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and frontend build tools is preferred.

Work Experience:

• Software engineering and development experience or a related job.
• Experience in application design, software development, and automated testing.
• Experience in object-oriented design and coding with a variety of programming languages.
• Experience developing modern web applications using React, Next.js, Node.js, Vite, and TypeScript.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience in distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies and practices such as Scrum/Kanban, iterations, and user stories.
• Experience in automation testing and documentation (i.e. automated, functional, and performance), including frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API, Zustand), responsive design, web accessibility (WCAG), and performance optimization is a plus.
