Revenue Accountant, Cork

Our client is a rapidly expanding technology company with a unique culture are seeking to appoint a Revenue Accountant to due to growth and expansion within their sector. There is a lot of scope in the role for development.

The Position:

This role will interact with a number of different departments and lead the team to improve revenue process and reporting, manage relationships with payment suppliers and oversee the month end process.

This is an exciting time for a revenue professional to join at a time during change in the industry and will allow you to play an integral role in shaping the global policy for the organisation.

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

• Review contracts and work with commercial teams on emerging markets
• Recognise revenue and promote global best practice
• VAT calculations and returns
• Supervise and review work of revenue team
• Manage relationships with payment providers
• Manage audit process
• Financial analysis

The Person:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA preferably) ideally with Big4 training
• Previous revenue experience within multicurrency environment
• VAT calculations desirably
• US GAAP exposure desirable
• Self -starter, with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong internal relationships
• Excellent IT skills
