Our client is a growing Irish business with large scale plans for growth internationally. They are seeking to appoint an Accounts Assistant to support a busy team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be involved in a wide range of tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, month end close, and preparing weekly KPI analysis. The office is based in Dublin West and will operate on a hybrid basis of 2-3 days working remotely.

Main Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and processing supplier invoices
• Setting up supplier accounts
• Dealing with supplier queries
• Supplier reconciliations
• Review month-end PL reports and resolve related queries
• Monthly close
• Bank reconciliations and bank account management
• Accounts Receiveable
• Weekly / monthly KPI analysis
• Process employee expenses
• Journal postings
• Assisting with projects and process improvements
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Similar experience in a broad role in finance
• Excellent excel skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organisation skills
• Strong administration skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to multitask
