Our client, a highly reputable and expanding healthcare provider, is looking for a skilled Payroll & Finance Administrator to join their Dublin 6 team. This dynamic, hands-on role is heavily centred on end-to-end payroll operations, while also supporting the broader finance function across AP, AR, and day-to-day accounts. The ideal candidate will be a meticulous, organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting where precision, discretion, and accuracy are paramount. This is a fully on-site position based in South Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end Irish payroll ensuring timely processing of PAYE, PRSI, USC, pensions, and BIK.
- Oversee staff documentation, verifying rosters, hours worked, annual leave, and sickness absences.
- Resolve payroll inquiries while assisting with monthly reconciliations and year-end reporting.
- Coordinate accounts receivable, including client invoicing, funding submissions, statements, and debt collection.
- Process accounts payable, matching purchase orders, handling supplier invoices, and executing payments.
- Assist with month-end closures, financial audits, and routine administrative duties within the finance team.
- Ensure data integrity by maintaining flawless financial archives in line with compliance and confidentiality standards.
- Communicate effectively with both internal staff and external partners.
Candidate Requirements:
- IPASS or Accounting Technician qualification preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience working within a busy finance or accounting department.
- Proven track record in Irish payroll with up-to-date knowledge of local tax legislation.
- Advanced Excel proficiency combined with exceptional numerical skills.
- Familiarity with Sage 50 or Sage Micropay (or equivalent software) is highly desirable.
- Prior exposure to Time & Attendance or procurement platforms is a distinct advantage.
- Superb time-management skills with the ability to balance multiple deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail paired with a proactive, dependable mindset.
- Collaborative team player who can also work autonomously with absolute discretion.
