An established and well-capitalised institutional real estate lender is seeking an experienced Director to lead its lending origination activities in the Irish market. This is a rare opportunity to join a growing platform with significant capital available for deployment and play a key role in expanding its presence across Ireland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for originating and executing real estate finance transactions across development, bridging, and investment lending.
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate and execute real estate lending transactions across development, bridging, and investment finance.
- Build and manage relationships with developers, investors, intermediaries, and other key market participants.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of lending opportunities.
- Lead business development activities and enhance market visibility within the Irish property sector.
- Structure and negotiate lending transactions in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to lending strategy, market analysis, pricing, and portfolio growth initiatives.
The Role:
- Significant experience within real estate lending, structured finance, or property finance origination.
- Strong network across the Irish real estate market, including developers, investors, and professional advisors.
- Demonstrated track record of sourcing, structuring, and executing lending transactions.
- Strong understanding of real estate finance, underwriting, credit analysis, and transaction structuring.
- Commercially astute, entrepreneurial, and relationship-focused with excellent stakeholder management skills.
