Financial Accountant

Our client, a large Logistics organisation currently experiencing rapid growth are currently looking to recruit a Financial Accountant initially on a zix month contract.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the role will involve:

Preparation of quarterly management accounts and annual statutory accounts for group of companies
Liaising with group auditors and managing all aspects of annual audit process
Preparation of projections and budgets for planning purposes
Assisting CFO in preparing Board Reports
Management of Job costing system and reconciliation to nominal ledger
Preparation of service charge budgets and finalisation of actual annual service charges on a timely basis
Preparation of tax computations for all group companies
Management of annual tax return and company secretarial returns for all group companies.
Ensure all returns are filed on a timely basis
Liaising with tax advisors for tax planning purposes
Manage the group' IT accounting and office systems
Ad hoc projects as requested by CFO
