We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability. At Macquarie, you're empowered to shape a career that is fulfilling and creates value. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future.
What role will you play?
As a Manager in the Financial Crime Risk Advisory team, you will support Commodities and Global Markets in understanding and responding to regulatory developments, policy changes and emerging risks. Working closely with the business, money laundering reporting officers, Compliance, Operational Risk and global Financial Crime Risk teams, you will coordinate practical and proportionate solutions that strengthen controls and meet regulatory obligations. You will support governance forums, risk assessments, reporting and strategic programmes, while helping to manage actions arising from audits, regulatory reviews and remediation activities through to completion. By producing clear insights for senior stakeholders and identifying opportunities to simplify processes, you will contribute to continuous improvement across the advisory function.
What you offer
- At least five years' experience in financial crime risk, compliance, risk management, regulatory change or a related control function within a regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing, sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption, or broader financial crime risk requirements.
- Experience assessing and implementing regulatory, policy or governance changes, with the ability to support audits, assurance reviews or remediation programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience preparing clear reporting, presentations and governance materials for senior stakeholders and committees.
- A practical and solutions-focused approach, with strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
