Our collective mission to provide locally forged, trusted business advice to SMEs through forward-thinking, close-knit relationships remains pivotal to our growth. It's our people who drive our business forward, and we offer them future-focused career opportunities whilst supporting individual specialisms. Our regional offices of over 3000 colleagues operate collaboratively, combining collective expertise to maximise potential.

Description

Our Kilkenny offices provide proactive accounting, taxation and advisory services to a wide range of owner-managed businesses and SMEs. Our bookkeeping services are delivered through a dedicated offshore team in India, supported by experienced Irish professionals.

We are looking for an experienced, energetic and outgoing Irish Bookkeeping Outsourcing Manager to lead this function from our Irish office.

This is a key management position responsible for ensuring our bookkeeping outsourcing operation delivers exceptional service, high-quality work and excellent client communication. Monitor productivity, utilisation and team performance.

Manage the end-to-end bookkeeping workflow across the outsourcing function.

Allocate work according to deadlines, complexity and team capacity.

Ensure all client work is delivered accurately and on time.

Coordinate priorities between the Irish office and India.

Build trusted relationships with clients, acting as the primary contact for bookkeeping queries and operational matters.

Understand each client's bookkeeping processes and expectations.

Ensure excellent communication throughout the bookkeeping cycle.

Manage client onboarding and transitions to the offshore team.

Ensure consistency, accuracy and compliance with Irish bookkeeping standards.

Maintain high-quality service delivery across all assignments.

Develop and maintain bookkeeping procedures and best practices.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy, driving greater use of automation and cloud accounting technology.

Key Requirements

The successful candidate will be an experienced Irish bookkeeper with a strong background in practice who enjoys leading people and building lasting client relationships. You thrive on planning and improving processes, and you have the confidence to manage an offshore team while maintaining the highest standards of service.
