Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Auditor specializing in technology and data risks. In this role, you are empowered with responsibilities to execute audits focused on assessing the effectiveness of controls technology and data areas. The responsibilities include ample opportunities to lead projects, mentor junior members, and manage mid-level plus senior-level stakeholder relationships using English and Japanese.
• Audit Planning & Execution
- Review technology processes, systems, and controls by leveraging data analytics and other advanced audit techniques.
- Identify and assess potential technology risks, evaluating their impact on business objectives.
• Risk Assessment & Analysis
- Understand the company key initiatives and associate risks to assess the risk and control status.
- Evaluate compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company requirements (local and global).
• Reporting, Documentation & Communication
- Prepare and present audit findings, and facilitate stakeholders' root cause analyses and management actions.
- Support communication of audit results and recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to follow up on remediation plans and ensure resolution of audit issues.
• Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate closely with leaders to serve as a trusted advisor to the business.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in IT development, operations, or security such as information security, digital transformation, agile software delivery, IT operations, or emerging technology risk management.
- 5+ years of experience in technology risk management, internal audit, or cybersecurity, with a focus on IT.
- Project management skills and the ability to balance multiple audits and tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of IT frameworks and standards (e.g. COSO, NIST, ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001), data privacy regulations, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CIA) will be plus.
- Experience in data analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, ACL, Python, Power BI) will be plus.
- Language: Japanese (business fluent), English (advanced)
