Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operations and monthly planning meetings with on-site facility management vendors.
- Monitor critical facility alerts and coordinate timely incident escalation to maintain maximum system availability.
- Prepare maintenance approvals, documentation, and reports using Microsoft Office applications.
- Manage procurement activities, vendor work requests, purchasing processes, and administrative documentation.
- Track annual facility budgets and monitor project expenditures.
- Oversee environmental controls including server room temperature and humidity management.
- Plan and coordinate server rack installations, low-voltage power infrastructure, and data center expansion projects.
- Ensure facility operations comply with internal standards, maintenance procedures, and operational best practices.
- Basic knowledge of data center facilities, including electrical power systems, cooling infrastructure, and rack environments.
- Experience supporting infrastructure operations, facilities management, or technical building services.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience coordinating vendors, maintenance activities, or operational projects.
- Understanding of facility maintenance processes, documentation, and operational procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and operational issue management.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining operational quality.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Japanese: Native Level
- English: Basic Level
- Japanese Electrician License (電気工事士).
- Experience working in data center facilities or mission-critical infrastructure environments.
- Knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems, UPS equipment, HVAC systems, or power distribution.
- Experience planning server rack installations and facility capacity management.
- Familiarity with enterprise data center operations and critical infrastructure management.
