Assistant Manager / Manager - USGAAP Actuarial Team

MetLife JapanのUSGAAP Actuarial Teamでは、Assistant ManagerまたはManagerを募集しています。本ポジションは主にUSGAAP領域を担当し、四半期決算、財務分析、予算策定、将来収支予測、経営分析、各種プロジェクトの推進を通じて、会社の財務報告および経営判断を支える重要な役割を担います。また、香港を拠点とするRegionalチーム、マレーシアCoEチーム、米国Corporateチームと連携しながら、グローバルな環境の中で業務改善やガバナンス強化にも携わっていただきます。さらに、国内外の多様な専門家と協働しながら、高度な保険数理・会計・ファイナンスの知識を習得し、将来的にはUSGAAP領域をリードする中核人材として活躍いただくことを期待しています。

保険会社におけるアクチュアリー業務、商品開発、決算、リスク管理、ALMなどの実務経験を有し、分析力、コミュニケーション力、課題解決力を備えた方を歓迎します。英語による業務経験があればなお望ましく、USGAAPの知識・経験は歓迎要件ですが必須ではありません。チームワークを重視しながら主体的に学び、新しい課題に挑戦する意欲のある方を求めています。

• USGAAP決算および財務分析
• Budget / Projection業務

MetLife Japan's USGAAP Actuarial Team is seeking an Assistant Manager or Manager to join the team. This role will primarily support the USGAAP area and play a key role in the Company's financial reporting and management decision-making through quarterly financial reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and various strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with Regional actuarial teams based in Hong Kong, the Malaysia Center of Excellence (CoE), and U.S. Corporate stakeholders, while contributing to process improvements, governance enhancement, and the continued evolution of our actuarial operating model. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop advanced actuarial, accounting, and finance expertise while working in a highly collaborative and global environment. We expect the successful candidate to grow into a key contributor and future leader within the USGAAP actuarial function.

We welcome candidates with experience in actuarial work, product development, financial reporting, risk management, ALM, or related areas within the insurance industry. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Prior USGAAP knowledge or experience is advantageous but not required. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, take ownership, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• USGAAP financial reporting and analysis
• Budgeting and projection activities
• Preparation of management insights and financial analysis for senior leadership
• Communication and coordination with Regional, Corporate, and Malaysia CoE teams
