We are looking for a Head of Finance for a leading financial services group with a strong international presence across investment banking, global markets and asset management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee the Bank’s Finance and Regulatory Reporting functions, ensuring high-quality accounting, financial control and regulatory reporting.
- Lead, develop and motivate experienced Finance and Regulatory Reporting teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Drive the transformation and optimisation of Finance processes, identifying opportunities for simplification, automation, standardisation and increased efficiency.
- Ensure robust, scalable and well-controlled processes, with appropriate documentation, governance and data quality standards.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, cost control, tax and VAT activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of regulatory, prudential, financial and Group reporting, in line with CSSF, BCL and the Group requirements.
- Act as a key Finance partner to Authorized Management and the Board, providing insight and support on financial and regulatory matters.
- Lead Finance-related projects, including systems enhancements, automation initiatives and the implementation of new regulatory or Group requirements.
- Oversee relevant procurement and third-party service provider activities, including risk management, due diligence and DORA-related requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure effective follow-up of findings and remediation actions.
- Work closely with IT, Risk, Compliance and other stakeholders to continuously strengthen the Finance operating model and support the Bank’s evolving needs.

Profil recherché- BAC+4/5 in Accounting or related field;
- Minimum 10 years demonstrable robust experience in a relevant senior Financial Accounting/Audit role in the Banking sector in Luxembourg/Europe with tangible exposure to regulatory reporting;
- Proven experience in managing multi-functional teams;
- Strong analytical skills with focus on accuracy and deadline adherence;
- Excellent communication skills and diplomacy to interact effectively with the Authorized Management, the Board of Directors, the Regulatory Authorities (notably the CSSF and the BCL) as well as peers and the Group Senior management;
- Ability to mentor and guide teams while serving as a career coach;
- Fluent in English (French considered an advantage)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools;
- Knowledge of Olympic Banking system considered as a strong advantage;
- Demonstrated confidentiality, drive, motivation, positive mindset, and excellent team spirit
