Measurement & Control Technician
Measurement & Control Technician (BMS & KNX) - CBRE - Shell / The Hague
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Measurement & Control Technician with extensive knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and building automation. Specialized in installing, programming, testing, commissioning, and maintaining measurement and control installations within commercial buildings, industrial environments, and real estate management.
Extensive experience with BMS platforms such as Honeywell, Priva, Siemens, and other systems. Additionally familiar with KNX systems for intelligent building automation.
Strong in analyzing and resolving technical to complex malfunctions, optimizing control processes, and advising clients on energy savings and comfort improvements.
About the Role
As a CBRE Engineer, you are part of a team responsible for maintaining building-related installations at one or multiple sites.
This position is part of the Engineering and Technical Services department, which is responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs of building-related installations, equipment, and systems.

• Preparing and updating technical documentation
• Advising clients on technical improvements and sustainability

What We Expect from You
• At least a secondary school diploma and vocational training, with 4-5 years of relevant work experience in the above-mentioned competencies and skills. A combination of education and experience may be considered as an alternative.
Physical ability to perform the role, including bending, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying loads of approximately 23 kg (50 lbs) or more
• Ability to make independent judgments based on analysis of multiple information sources
• Willingness to approach existing solutions from new perspectives
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational skills and a proactive, inquisitive attitude
