Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join Platform Security Solutions organisation at Technology Platform Engineering & Operations division to enhance our patching and vulnerability remediation capabilities through automation and orchestration. This is not a typical security governance or vulnerability management analyst role responsible for scanning and/or triaging security findings. The role holder will be a hands-on subject matter expert with extensive experience in UNIX/Linux and infrastructure automation areas, ideally an ex-sysadmin, and will work on enabling our internal customers with vulnerability remediation solutions. This role is focused on using Ansible Automation Platform (not the platform administration itself) and collaborating with Platform Engineering teams to deliver automation outcomes for 30000+ servers across hybrid landing zones and helping us transform the bank to be ready to face and respond to the new frontier AI threats at an unprecedented pace.

Note: The role requires a minimum of three days per week working from the office
Minimum Salary:
zł182,004 Annual
The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.

Required Skills and Experience
- Strong hands-on Ansible development experience with Ansible Core 2.14 or higher
- Advanced scripting skills (Python, Bash or similar)
- Proven experience using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), including: Job Templates, Workflow Templates, Projects, Credentials, Related AAP operational concepts
- Strong Linux administration and automation experience across RHEL 7/8/9
- Practical expertise with Red Hat Satellite, yum/dnf and RPM-based patching automation.
- Demonstrated experience automating application lifecycle tasks during maintenance windows: Stop/start orchestration, Validation/verification logic, Health checks
- Good understanding and proficiency working with SDLC tooling such as GIT, CI/CD pipelines, Jira
- Strong experience on working with APIs
- Experience with ServiceNow change processes and ITIL-aligned delivery
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in regulated, high-availability environments
- Comfortable and effective with stakeholder engagement, especially with application owners and operational teams
- Experience working with ServiceNow API and ServiceNow Vulnerability Response
- Previous experience working in a regulated industry
- Demonstrated fluency in using LLMs to speed up and enhance engineering workflows
- Exposure to operational monitoring and reporting integration
