Description:
This role sits within Data, Reporting & Operations Management (DROM), a Global Operations Line of Business responsible for the delivery, control, and governance of the bank's regulatory and operational reporting obligations, ensuring complete, accurate, and timely reporting for Global Markets and Global Banking businesses.
The Business Analyst is a member of the DROM Strategy, Change & Transformation team in APAC.
The key purpose of the role is to work in tandem with project managers to support deploying change within bank's Non Financial Regulatory Reporting (NFRR) capability which includes Transaction Reporting.
Responsibilities broadly comprise working with subject matter experts to document requirements or processes on multiple and varied change initiatives which are either regulatory mandated or discretionary in nature.
Scope:
• Navigate complex, multi jurisdiction regulatory change across APAC
• Support regulatory reporting change initiatives by partnering closely with DROM regulatory reporting teams, who are the primary recipients of change
• Opportunity to define how regulatory change is embedded into operations
• Create and maintain core business analysis related artefacts including business requirements document, process maps, requirements JIRAs and Traceability Matrix
• Provide inputs to project governance e.g. working groups or steering committees, including creation of associated meeting materials
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across Global Markets business or Global Banking product teams, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Controls functions and Technology
Required Skills:
• 5-10+ years' experience in Business Analysis / Change management within financial services
• Exposure to regulatory reporting change, regulatory remediation, or control driven transformation initiatives
• Understanding of Global Markets and/or Global Banking lines of business, products and processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to succinctly summarize complex problem statements for senior audience
• Ability to meet delivery deadlines whilst managing multiple priorities and facing incomplete information
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
• Knowledge of structured analysis methods such as Use Cases writing, Business Process Modelling
