This is a hybrid dealing and investment products role supporting the Private Banking business. The Dealer will execute multi-asset investment transactions for HNW clients. Working closely with Relationship Managers, investment advisors and market counterparties, the role also contributes to product enhancements and trading-platform improvements.

Responsibilities

1. Execute client orders across FX, fixed income, equities, funds, derivatives and structured products.
2. Obtain competitive pricing from market counterparties and provide timely quotes to Relationship Managers.
3. Monitor markets and provide relevant market updates, pricing information and execution support.
4. Ensure accurate trade capture, confirmation, matching and settlement follow-up.
5. Perform pre-trade checks and maintain proper trade records in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements.
6. Monitor the competitiveness and operational delivery of investment products.
7. Provide market and execution feedback to support product reviews, enhancements and new product implementation.
8. Work with Product, Operations, Technology and other stakeholders to improve trading systems and workflows.
9. Manage execution risks and escalate trade or system issues promptly.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
2. At least 3–5 years of dealing or trade-execution experience within private banking, wealth management, treasury or institutional brokerage.
3. CACS Papers 1 & 2 & relevant CMFAS modules are required
4. Good knowledge of multiple asset classes, particularly FX, bonds, equities and structured products.
5. Experience in product implementation, trading-system enhancements or process improvement would be an advantage.
6. Proficiency in Bloomberg, Reuters and electronic trading platforms.
7. Attention to detail with a sound understanding of trade controls and regulatory requirements.
8. Conversant in both English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with North Asia clients.
