Job Summary
Our client, an established Asian bank, is seeking HR Head to drive the people agenda across multiple Asian markets. Reporting to the regional CEO and Asia HR leadership, this role plays a critical part in shaping HR strategy, advising senior management, and ensuring strong governance, compliance, and talent outcomes across the Securities business.
This is a high-impact role for a strategic HR leader who enjoys working closely with executives, influencing business direction, and building a high-performing, inclusive culture in a regional environment.
Key Responsibilities

- Partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership as a trusted advisor on all people and organisation matters.
- Lead and execute regional HR strategy aligned with global frameworks and local regulatory requirements.
- Drive talent management initiatives including succession planning, leadership development, and performance management.
- Oversee employee relations matters, ensuring fair, compliant, and timely resolution of complex cases.
- Ensure strong HR governance, regulatory compliance, certifications, and people risk management.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and regional HR teams on business and change initiatives.
- Embed diversity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing into HR practices and decision-making.
Key Requirements

- Extensive experience in a senior HR Business Partner role within a global or regional, matrixed organisation (financial services preferred).
- Strong track record of partnering with C-suite and senior leaders on strategic people matters.
- Solid expertise in generalist HR, employee relations, talent management, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- High level of discretion, strong judgment, and ability to manage sensitive issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a cross-cultural environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification.
