The Company
Our client is a leading global consulting firm supporting a large-scale client remediation programme. They are seeking Junior KYC Analysts to join the project team on a contract basis, with a primary focus on tax documentation remediation, GDPR compliance and customer data review.
The Role
- Review client records and supporting documentation to identify missing, incomplete or outdated information.
- Perform tax documentation remediation, including the review and validation of relevant tax forms and customer information.
- Support GDPR-related remediation activities by reviewing personal data, consent records and document retention requirements.
- Conduct KYC checks and ensure customer records are complete and compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Update customer information accurately across internal systems and project trackers.
- Identify discrepancies, documentation gaps and potential compliance issues, escalating them to the appropriate team members.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders or customers to obtain outstanding information and supporting documents where required.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all remediation activities are completed within agreed project timelines.
- Follow established procedures relating to data confidentiality, information security and document handling.
- Support project reporting and provide regular updates on assigned cases.
Your Profile
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Banking, Law or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in KYC, client onboarding, remediation, compliance operations, document review or a similar role.
- Exposure to tax documentation, FATCA, CRS, GDPR or data remediation would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to review high volumes of customer information accurately.
- Good understanding of data confidentiality and the handling of sensitive customer information.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet project deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with Excel, internal databases and case-management systems.
- Able to work effectively in a structured, process-driven project environment.
- Available to commence within a short notice period.
