StriveX is representing a well-established regional bank in Singapore seeking a meticulous and experienced Credit Operations professional to join their loan operations team. This role is responsible for the end-to-end administration of bilateral and syndicated credit facilities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review legal documentation for bilateral and syndicated credit facilities to ensure alignment with credit approvals, and accurately interpret facility agreements for transaction permissibility.
- Manage the full lifecycle of loan drawdowns, rollovers, principal repayments, and interest collections for both bilateral and syndicated loans.
- Examine utilisation requests, verify facility limits and conditions precedent, and prepare SWIFT payment instructions for loan disbursements.
- Process Bank Guarantees, Standby Letters of Credit, and perform AML/KYC checks in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with Relationship Managers on outstanding documentation, and prepare local regulatory reports and Head Office submissions.
- Collaborate with IT teams on system upgrades and UAT rollouts, and undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in credit documentation and loan administration.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and in a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proactive, with a positive working attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
