Portfolio Funding and Reporting Analyst, Senior Associate (FP&A)
Accountable for managing a portfolio of trade receivables financing deals, overseeing the allocation of assets, management of SPVs (Special Purpose Vehicles). You must ensures the smooth operation of receivables funding, liquidity management, and deal profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Portfolio Strategy & Allocation (direct execution role)
- Own the asset allocation process at trade, assigning deals to notes or funders based on eligibility and limits.
- Forecast liquidity and concentration limits to enable pre-trade limit reservation.
- Own and maintain eligibility criteria and input into the asset allocation tool.
- Drive portfolio rebalancing and remove or reject underperforming buyers/deals.
SPV Management and Portfolio Reporting (team leadership role)
- Respond to investor queries and support ad-hoc analysis.
- Oversee and authorise SPV payments, working with central service providers.
- Produce and distribute regular reports to investors.
- Analyse liquidity mix across direct funders, notes, and warehouse to optimise funding strategy.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree educated in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Fully qualified accountant (preferably through ISCA or an equivalent recognised body), or significant progress toward qualification.
- 8+ years of experience finance related roles
- Strong in FP&A
- Advanced EXCEL skills- must be highly proficient in scenario modelling and what-if analysis.
- Comfortable acting as a point of contact for commercial team on funding-related matters.
- Able to effectively resolve problems / challenges on an ongoing basis – escalating where necessary
- Experience with trade finance or trade credit insurance is a plus.
