The NTU Investment Office, who manages the University’s multi-billion-dollar global investment fund, is looking to expand its existing investment team.
The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for managing or co-managing the investment fund’s multi-asset portfolio, which spans both public and private markets across credit, /equities yand /hedge funds books. Depending on the asset class assigned, the Portfolio Manager/Analyst may invest directly or via external managers. The role involves developing a structured investment framework to generate excess returns over benchmark while managing risks, conducting research/due diligence on potential investments, guiding asset allocation decisions, trade execution as well as monitoring investment performance.
This position offers opportunities for the successful candidates to interact actively with and learn from global/local top tier managers including their portfolio managers, CIOs and CEOs. The right candidates should be decisive, enjoy navigating complex environments and relish the challenge of building conviction in investment themes and translating them into investment plans or action.
Requirements
- At least 5-10 years in Fixed Income, Hedge Funds, Equities, Private Markets or investment banking.
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of business fundamentals, financial analysis and asset valuations.
- Proficient in economics, financial modelling, statistical analysis and investment research tools.
- Excellent oral and written skills are required for communicating investment proposals.
- Possesses at least a bachelor’s degree in sciences, mathematics, finance or economics.
