A leading global online trading provider is seeking a Sales Trader to join its Singapore team.
This client-facing position combines trade execution, relationship management and business development. You will support premium and active trading clients, provide market insights and execution services, and help grow client trading activity through referrals, networking and industry events.
This is a permanent, office-based position in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute trades accurately and efficiently on behalf of clients
- Manage relationships with HNW individuals, accredited investors and active traders
- Develop new business through networking, referrals, seminars and industry events
- Increase client acquisition, retention, trading activity and revenue
- Provide clients with relevant market updates and product insights
- Respond to trading, account and platform-related enquiries
- Educate clients on financial products, trading platforms and execution processes
- Act as a product and platform specialist for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with trading, operations, sales and marketing teams to improve the client experience
- Contribute written or verbal market commentary when required
- Ensure all client activities comply with relevant regulatory and internal requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in derivatives and financial sales
- Experience across CFDs, leveraged FX, equities, indices, commodities or other derivatives
- Proven B2C and B2B business-development experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage and retain premium or active trading clients
- Experience executing client orders through trading platforms or phone-dealing channels
- Strong understanding of global financial markets and asset classes
- Existing client relationships or a transferable network would be highly desirable
- Comfortable working in a target-driven and fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, relationship-building and presentation skills
- Good analytical, numerical and problem-solving abilities
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
- Relevant Singapore financial regulatory qualifications would be advantageous
