Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal and compliance support to the Asia Pacific Legal team across multiple jurisdictions.
- Support the review, preparation and administration of commercial agreements, legal documentation and corporate governance matters.
- Conduct legal due diligence, KYC and sanctions screening for customers and vendors, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with corporate governance and entity management, including board documentation, statutory filings and maintaining corporate records.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel on legal, compliance and regulatory matters across the region.
- Maintain and organise legal documentation, monitor compliance deadlines and support continuous improvement of legal processes and documentation standards.
- 4-6 years of experience as an in-house paralegal or within the commercial practice of a reputable law firm.
- Strong experience in corporate secretarial, KYC, due diligence and compliance matters.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and engage confidently with regional stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and commercial acumen.
- Experience within a multinational environment is highly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is beneficial to support interactions with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
