Based out of Singapore, Mizuho Bank's Asia & Oceania Treasury Department (AOTD) oversees FX & Derivatives Sales, Trading, Macroeconomic/Mark et Research, Banking and Planning for Asia (outside of Japan and Greater China).

Job Responsibilities
Front Office Operations
- Input/approve/amend FX and Rates derivatives transactions executed on the desk's front-office trading systems.
- Provide front-staff-level system maintenance for End User Computing tools (EUCs) and Robotic Process Automations (RPAs) used by the desk.
- Perform daily opening (where applicable), intraday and closing system operations across the desk's trading, settlement and reporting platforms.
- Prepare and circulate daily/weekly/monthly/termly reports.
Desk Planning & Projects
- Support the introduction of new systems, or enhancement of existing systems, including pre- and post-implementation processes.
- Support the introduction of new products, or enhancement of existing products, including pre- and post-implementation processes.
- Handle regular and ad hoc reporting requirements (e.g. business continuity planning, internal audit, systems and ID inventory checks).
- Assist with trading infrastructure set-up (e.g. PCs, trading platforms, seating arrangements, telephony).
- Support enhancements to current workflows, including changes to operating procedures and other relevant desk rules.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or business with 0-2 years experience as a trading assistant.
- Experience in treasury front or back office operations will be advantageous.
- Familiar with local regulations and treasury & derivatives-related regulations.
- Knowledge of over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives products, bonds and securities.
- Knowledge of SWIFT message types such as MT103, MT202, MT300, MT599,etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel formulas, pivot tables and charts.
- Able to multi-task across functions.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent team player.
- Fresh Graduates with a genuine interest in financial markets and trading are welcome to apply.
