Job Description

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Join us as a Relationship Manager in our Industry Groups, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of companies across the Construction & Infrastructure sector.

In this role, you'll work closely with business owners and senior stakeholders, partnering them as a trusted advisor to deliver tailored financial solutions that support project execution, expansion, and long-term growth.

What you'll do

• Build and deepen strong relationships with a portfolio of Construction & Infrastructure clients, serving as their primary banking partner.
• Understand clients' project pipelines, cash flow cycles, and funding requirements to provide relevant and timely solutions.
• Structure and deliver financing solutions across working capital, project financing, trade finance, cash management, and deposits.
• Identify opportunities to expand relationships through cross-selling aligned to clients' project and growth needs.
• Collaborate closely with product partners, credit, and operations to deliver seamless and customised solutions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends to provide proactive insights to clients.
• Monitor portfolio performance and risk exposure, ensuring early identification of potential issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit policies, including proper documentation and governance standards.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in SME or commercial banking, with exposure to Construction, Infrastructure, or project-based industries.
• Good understanding of sector dynamics.
• Strong credit evaluation and financial analysis skills.
• Results-driven and commercially minded, with a proven ability to grow and manage client portfolios.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage business owners and senior stakeholders.
