An established international financial institution is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join its Compliance team in Singapore. This role is ideal for a regulatory compliance professional with strong knowledge of the Singapore banking regulatory framework and a passion for providing practical compliance advice to the business.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Provide regulatory advisory support on applicable MAS regulations and requirements.
- Conduct gap analysis for new or revised regulatory requirements and recommend appropriate actions.
- Develop, maintain and review compliance policies, procedures and internal guidelines.
- Review marketing and promotional materials to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide compliance advisory on Representative Notification Framework (RNF) matters.
To be eligible for this role you will require:
- At least 5 years of regulatory compliance experience in the corporate/wholesale banking industry (private banking experience will be a plus)
- Strong understanding of Singapore regulatory requirements and familiar with legislations such as the Banking Act, SFA and/or FAA.
