Our client is a leading private banking institution seeking an Avaloq Engineer to support the development and delivery of modern integration solutions within a complex and dynamic IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable integration services within a modern containerised platform environment.
• Participate in strategic integration initiatives involving real-time, bi-directional data and message exchange.
• Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve complex integration challenges across multiple systems and channels.
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, release management, and development teams to ensure high-quality solutions from design through deployment.
• Support testing activities, production rollouts, and ongoing service improvements.

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications in banking software platforms or system integration are advantageous.
• Initial professional experience in system integration, preferably within the financial services or banking sector.
• Exposure to core banking platforms is beneficial.
• Knowledge of container platforms, API technologies, event-driven architectures, and programming languages such as Java or .NET is considered an asset.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks.
• Self-motivated, hands-on, and comfortable working independently.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
