Risk Analyst - Python, P&L, Derivatives - vacancy for our Basel based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Support daily profit and loss control activities and ensure timely issue resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Provide concise briefings to management on realised and anticipated profitability, as well as key risk exposures from a total balance sheet perspective.
• Review and improve business processes to enhance efficiency and resilience within middle office support activities.
• Support the development, ownership and maintenance of analytical products, including dashboards and data products, to aid decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with Risk Management, Finance and other stakeholders to deliver accurate analysis and reporting.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Experience in an Investment Analyst, Risk Analyst, Market Risk Analyst, Quantitative Analyst or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments, including derivatives, and of valuation and profitability measurement concepts.
• Excellent Python programming skills.
• Experience in analysing business logic and improving business processes.
• Experience with analytical products, dashboards or data-driven reporting is an advantage.
• Language skills: English - fluent
