Your Responsibilities
As a PT Principal Engineer, you will actively contribute to the continuous improvement and optimization of production facilities across the areas of Fractionation, Bulk Manufacturing, and Fill & Finish Operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop technical design requirements and support the creation of specifications, engineering drawings, and technical documentation in accordance with internal, external, local, and global standards.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including:
- Block Flow Diagrams (BFD)
- Process Flow Diagrams (PFD)
- Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
- System Descriptions (SD)
- System Risk Assessments
- Act as the Process Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) in CAPEX and OPEX projects.
- Support technology transfers and the implementation of new manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Provide technical expertise during audits, inspections, investigations, change controls, and deviation assessments.
- Collaborate closely with production, quality, maintenance, validation, automation, and external engineering partners.
- Drive process optimization initiatives focused on safety, quality, compliance, efficiency, and reliability.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- More than 5 years of experience in process engineering or process technology, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other highly regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of engineering design principles, technical development concepts, and industrial manufacturing processes.
- Experience creating and reviewing engineering documents such as PFDs, P&IDs, technical specifications, and risk assessments.
- Knowledge of GMP-regulated manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
- Proven problem-solving skills and experience supporting design, testing, implementation, and continuous improvement activities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Very good written and spoken German and English language skills.
