About the job UHNWI Private Banking (Swiss German-Speaking Onshore Focus)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Managing Director to join a leading Private Banking team in Zurich, exclusively focused on Swiss German onshore High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) and Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWIs). This role is ideal for an ambitious banker with a strong hunter mentality who thrives in a client-centric, high-performance environment and is eager to build and grow a significant client portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and expand a dedicated client base of Swiss German onshore HNW and UHNW clients.
• Utilize a broad platform offering across financing, tax advisory, investment banking, and family office solutions to meet clients complex financial needs.
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver bespoke solutions for clients, leveraging resources across financing, wealth management, tax planning, and investment products.
• Drive new business opportunities with a focus on sustainable, long-term client relationships.
• Develop and manage a substantial portfolio, aiming to achieve growth targets by acquiring new clients and strengthening existing relationships.
• Contribute to the firms collaborative culture by sharing client opportunities with other departments and benefiting from cross-departmental client referrals.

Requirements:

• 10-20 years of experience in private banking or wealth management, with a proven track record of developing and managing HNW and UHNW client portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of the Swiss German onshore market, with a robust network of potential clients in Zurich and surrounding areas.
• Demonstrated ability to acquire, develop, and retain high-value clients, with a focus on delivering long-term solutions.
• Entrepreneurial and results-driven mindset, with a hunter mentality and ability to develop a minimum of CHF 1 million in revenue within the first year.
• Fluency in German and English; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
