Our client is a rapidly growing global trading platform, providing market-leading clearing, market access, liquidity, and execution services across a broad range of commodity asset classes. With an established international footprint and ambitious growth plans, they are looking to appoint a Clearing Sales Executive to join their expanding London-based team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional with experience in brokerage, clearing, or commodity markets who is looking to build a career within a high-growth and entrepreneurial environment. While experience within energy markets is advantageous, candidates with clearing sales experience across other asset classes will also be considered.
The OpportunityAs part of a growing commercial team, you will be responsible for driving new business and developing relationships with commodity market participants including producers, trading houses, refiners, and shipowners. You will play a key role in expanding the firm's clearing offering across multiple global exchanges while delivering exceptional service and market insight to clients.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, develop, and secure new clearing business opportunities across commodity markets.
- Promote clearing solutions to producers, trading houses, refiners, shipowners, and other market participants.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, counterparties, and industry stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor by providing clients with relevant market intelligence and insights.
- Monitor market developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends to identify commercial opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in line with applicable regulations and internal compliance standards.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in clearing sales, brokerage sales, or a related commercial role within financial or commodity markets.
- Experience covering any asset class will be considered; energy market exposure is highly desirable.
- Strong business development skills with a proven ability to generate and win new business.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation capabilities.
- Good understanding of market structure, trading strategies, and clearing services.
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
