
My client is one of the top private debt houses in Europe, with upwards of 35Bn AUM the firm has grown exceptionally well over the last 10 years and is recognised as one of the market leaders in this space.
A new opportunity has arisen to join the business in a data analyst/associate capacity. The role will have a trifecta of deliverables, supporting Investor Relations with analytics requests, a commercial mindset with strong Excel data manipulation and modelling skills will be required. Product Development support, as the business scales its growth engine it is looking at new products and new funds to launch and to co-invest in. Portfolio monitoring/Client services support: you will need to understand and analyse the portfolio companies, understand potential loss rates on funds, understand and deal with fund bookings and the trading quality and utilise that data in a marketing capacity. There will also be some reporting requirements to the parent co with analysis of KPI's and SLA's
This role will have a significant impact on the business, and will work directly with partners across the firm. The business are in the office 5 days a week, an excellent compensation and benefits package are on offer
You will have
- Experience with private markets- ideally a debt fund, but PE/Infra/RE will be considered
- CFA or ACA (or equivalent) qualification is preferred but people studying for these qualifications will be considered
- Advanced Excel skills
- Adept with AI and other programming languages such as SQL will be favourably looked on.
- A strong academic background, a STEM degree from a top tier institution
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- High levels of attention to detail and commerciality.
