  • Promote and apply best practice in line with HR policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Support and manage employee check-ins, including new-joiner check-ins and exit interviews, escalating issues and identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement.
  • Support HR Business Partners across the talent lifecycle, including promotions, workforce planning, remuneration and the annual pay and reward cycle, ensuring best practice and compliance with legal and contractual requirements.
  • Uphold GDPR standards and act as a champion for the protection of confidential employee information.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including SMCR Senior Managers and Certification Regime), escalating risks or issues as necessary.
  • Ensure strong connectivity between HR Operations and HR Business Partnering, and that accurate information is communicated effectively to payroll.
  • Build trusted working relationships across HR and the wider business, acting as a reliable and responsive point of contact.

About you
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources or a related discipline, with generalist HR experience. CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role, with exposure across the full employee lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.
  • Practical, hands-on experience supporting core HR activity, including employee relations, performance and absence management, and policy application.
  • Experience working closely with HR Business Partners and wider HR teams to support effective delivery across multiple business areas.
  • Sound understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice, with the judgement to manage risk and escalate issues appropriately.
