Our client is a leading global private markets asset manager, with expertise across private equity, credit and real assets. They are seeking to hire a Media Relations Associate to support their wealth channel communications activities across the EMEA region. Key responsibilities include; help to deliver EMEA wealth communications activities including media engagement, planning and coordination across priority initiatives and stakeholders; draft and refine communications materials at pace and with precision, including: media briefings, talking points, FAQs, interview preparation, and thought leadership amplification materials; contribute to strategic communications planning and global coordination, including building and maintaining trackers, reporting, planning calendars, media lists, and measurement frameworks; maintain core wealth messaging in formats tailored for different audiences and support wealth announcements and reputational moments: ensure disciplined processes, strong attention to detail, and effective coordination across communications, marketing, sales, product and legal & compliance partners.
The successful candidate will be a team player with a background in either in-house or agency media relations/external communications gained in asset management/financial services; they will possess strong writing and editing expertise; the proven ability to drive clear, concise messaging; excellent verbal communication and stakeholder management skills; an interest in financial markets/investing, the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities and be comfortable using AI-powered tools. European language skills (German/French/Italian) would be useful.
