Assisting with the production of Syndicate reporting to Lloyd’s, comprising:

1. QMB, Solvency UK, US and Canadian situs reporting, RRQ, RRA.
2. Annual and underwriting year financial statements.
3. Production of analytics and commentary to support regular or ad hoc queries on, or related to, syndicate reporting.
4. The responsibility includes all necessary liaison with parties involved in the process, in particular within the Finance area, to ensure the end result is delivered in the timeframe and standard required.
5. Ensuring reports are produced in accordance with relevant timetables, and allowing appropriate time for management review
6. Production of analytical tools and analytical memos supporting each one of the reports produced
7. Assisting with the planning and production of reports and ensuring that they are produced in accordance with the relevant timetables, ensuring that there is enough time for a proper management review and understanding of the figures
8. Development of diagnostics and continuous interaction with underwriters and actuaries in order to develop the understanding of the figures.
9. Support the audit process; liaising with auditors and ensuring that all the information required is produced and the audits are completed on time.

Education & knowledge

1. Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA or CIMA)
2. Working knowledge of Lloyd’s accounting and reporting rules, UK GAAP, Solvency UK/II, Companies Act
3. Advanced excel
4. Advanced report writing skills
5. Knowledge of Lloyd’s software (desirable)
