Or Strategy & Transactions practice is looking for an experienced Senior Manager to join the team and spport or work in the low carbon infrastrctre and renewables space.




What yo will be doing



Yo will be joining or dynamic and growing Strategy & Transactions practice. We work with a range of clients, inclding energy companies, independent developers and infrastrctre fnds, to help them identify and execte vale creation opportnities in relation to renewable and low carbon infrastrctre portfolios.



Baringa is differentiated throgh its ability to leverage or fndamental nderstanding of market, technical, commercial and reglatory drivers of vale and risk to help clients optimisze the vale of infrastrctre investments across the entire project lifecycle. We do this by rnning blended teams of strategy &/ transaction experts with sector specialists, bringing hands-on expertise from across Baringa to or clients.



Yor typical projects will inclde:

Spporting investors with their investment strategies by advising on how best to optimize their portfolios and assessing vale creation opportnities.

Advising on capability investments in asset management and revene management, inclding how to optimally deploy devex and capex.

Leading commercial de diligence engagements, focsing on large platform deals in matre renewables, BESS and PtX.

More broadly, we are looking for someone with an appetite and capacity to provide leadership bandwidth to the team, capable of coaching and investing in jnior team members to enable s to evolve and scale the practice area in this exciting market in the next 3-5 years.

Yor skills and experience



We are looking for someone with 8 years+ experience in some or all of the following:

Experience in investment strategy, M&A and financial advisory and valation in the energy and infrastrctre space, particlarly in relation to renewable and 'power-to-x'.

Experience in strctring and negotiating commercial deals related to energy and infrastrctre investments.

Experience developing credible bsiness cases for infrastrctre investments.

Strong analytical skills, with ability to develop hypotheses and reach conclsions in tight timeframes.

Strong written and verbal commnication skills (e.g. preparing and presenting investment theses to Investment Committees).

Experience bilding strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience in bilding teams and leading engagements.
