Exciting opportunity with a well known city based insurance business. This is a broad, hands on Contract role, visible across the business. In the role you will provide high-quality management and financial reporting as well as supporting process improvement.
Duties will include:
- Ownership of IFRS 17, IFRS 4 and UK GAAP Technical Close Process
- Provide accurate and timely management and financial information
- Quarterly IFRS 17, IFRS 4 and UK GAAP Closing pack production for Group Reporting
- Perform analysis of movements in IFRS 17 balances.
- Assist with external audit matters
- Assist with the population of technical memorandums
Profile:
- Qualified Accountant
- Strong Insurance accounting experience
- Involvement in the Technical close process of a general Insurer.
- Knowledge of IFRS17 - Either implementation or BAU reporting experience
- Analytical and MI Reporting Skills
