We're working with a leading global investment firm to hire a Senior Data Analyst to join its Data Services team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with financial data and partnering with a range of business stakeholders. The role offers exposure to investment professionals across trading, research, risk, and compliance, helping ensure they have access to accurate and reliable information to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery and quality of financial market and reference data across the organisation.
Work closely with trading, research, risk, and compliance teams to understand and resolve data-related issues.
Investigate data discrepancies and help ensure information is accurate, complete, and available when needed.
Assist with on-boarding new data sources and evaluating external data providers.
Coordinate and support data-related projects from requirements gathering through to testing and implementation.
Help improve existing processes and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and data quality.
Partner with operational and technology teams to ensure the smooth flow of critical business data.
Support ongoing reporting, analysis, and data governance initiatives.

Requirements

Previous experience in a data-focused role within financial services, investment management, market data, or a related environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with large datasets and investigating data issues.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
