Project Executive

Title: Project Executive - Industrial / EPC Construction
Location: Atlanta, GA
Type: Direct hire
Salary: $175K - $200K
*Relocation package available

Summary
The Project Executive leads a portfolio of large-scale industrial Design-Build and Process EPC construction projects. This role will oversee multiple Project Managers and cross-functional teams while partnering closely with owners, designers, subcontractors, and internal leadership

Responsibilities

Provide executive oversight for multiple industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
Own project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability
Serve as the senior point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
Lead executive-level project meetings, presentations, negotiations, and change management discussions
Oversee development and maintenance of project execution plans, schedules, and staffing strategies
Establish and manage project procurement strategies and approve major contracts and buyout decisions
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize schedule, cost, and operational impacts
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, performance, and adherence to standards
Drive continuous improvement and adoption of industry best practices

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business, or related field
15+ years of progressive experience in construction leadership roles (Project Manager, Construction Manager, or similar)
Strong background in industrial construction, EPC, and/or Design-Build project delivery
Proven success leading large, complex capital projects with full P&L responsibility
Expertise in scheduling, cost management, procurement, and change management
Proficiency with project management and ERP systems (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
Strong understanding of construction safety regulations, quality standards, and risk management practices
