Position Overview



Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable
Multi-Shift Patrol Security Officer to provide overnight mobile patrol coverage at assigned locations. This position is responsible for traveling between designated properties, maintaining a visible presence, identifying unusual conditions, and reporting security or property concerns.



The ideal candidate is punctual, observant, comfortable working independently, and able to use sound judgment when responding to unexpected situations.




Schedule

• Monday: 12:00 AM - 6:00 AM


• Tuesday: 12:00 AM - 6:00 AM


• Additional hours and days may vary based on operational needs.


• Weekend and holiday availability may be required.


• Ability to work changing overnight assignments is expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled mobile patrols of assigned properties throughout the overnight hours.


• Travel between designated locations as directed and complete patrols according to established procedures.


• Check for unauthorized individuals, suspicious activity, property damage, unsecured areas, and other unusual conditions.


• Maintain awareness of entrances, exterior areas, parking areas, and other designated patrol points.


• Identify potential safety, security, or maintenance concerns and communicate them through the appropriate channels.


• Respond appropriately to situations that require basic problem-solving or troubleshooting.


• Document patrol activity, observations, incidents, and other relevant information accurately.


• Notify the appropriate supervisor or designated contact when significant concerns are identified.


• Maintain a professional and alert presence while working independently.


• Follow assigned post orders, patrol instructions, company procedures, and applicable regulations.


• Complete all required patrols and assignments in a timely and reliable manner.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.


• Valid driver's license required.


• Minimum of 3 years as a licensed driver.


• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.


• Ability to successfully complete required background screening.


• Ability to work independently during overnight hours.


• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.


• Strong observation and situational-awareness skills.


• Ability to remain calm and use good judgment when handling unexpected situations.


• Professional verbal and written communication skills.


• Ability to work varying days and hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Skills

• Previous security, patrol, public safety, military, law enforcement, or related experience.


• Experience performing mobile or vehicle-based patrols.


• Familiarity with incident reporting and routine security documentation.


• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.


• Comfortable working with limited direct supervision.


• Ability to recognize and communicate property or safety concerns promptly.

• Ability to safely perform routine patrol activities across assigned locations.


• Ability to respond promptly when an unusual condition or security concern is identified.
