We are partnering with a quantitative trading organization that is building a new systematic US equities trading initiative and is seeking experienced systematic traders to play a key role in shaping its future.
This opportunity is particularly attractive for individuals who want to operate within a highly collaborative, research-driven environment while maintaining the flexibility of a fully remote position. The firm is investing heavily in talent, infrastructure, research, and technology to create a best-in-class systematic equities platform. The incoming hire will work directly with quantitative researchers, engineers, and trading professionals to develop scalable alpha-generating strategies, improve portfolio construction frameworks, and optimize execution across the US equities universe.
The team is especially interested in speaking with traders who have a demonstrated track record of generating strong risk-adjusted returns, ideally through strategies producing Sharpe ratios of 2.5 or greater over a meaningful live trading history.
This is an opportunity for experienced systematic traders who want to maximize the impact of their ideas, work alongside exceptional quantitative talent, and contribute to the growth of a highly ambitious trading business without being tied to a specific office location.
Responsibilities:
- Researching novel trading opportunities
- Developing systematic investment signals
- Identifying persistent market inefficiencies
- Capital allocation
- Risk budgeting
- Exposure management
- Monitoring slippage
- Improving order-routing decisions
- Collaborating with technology teams on execution infrastructure
