Trident is seeking a detail-oriented Deal Entry Clerk to join our Refined Products team. This role is ideal for an organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy.
As a Deal Entry Clerk, you will play a critical role in the trade lifecycle by ensuring transactions are accurately entered, validated, and maintained within internal systems. Your work will directly support brokers, operations professionals, and clients while helping ensure the integrity of trading data across the business.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter, review, and maintain trade and transaction data in internal systems
- Verify trade details and identify discrepancies or missing information
- Ensure timely processing of deals and trade amendments
- Work closely with brokers and operations teams to resolve trade-related inquiries
- Maintain accurate records and support documentation
- Perform routine data validation and quality control checks
- Assist with daily reporting and reconciliation processes
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to operational workflows and data integrity
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
- 1+ years of data entry, operations, administrative, or financial services experience preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
