Financial Controller
Morgan McKinley is partnering exclusively with a growing, global, PE-backed business based in central Bristol, to recruit a commercially focused Financial Controller.
The Role
This is an exciting role in a business focused on international expansion, which will involve significant business partnering with Directors, and annual reporting for the UK entities.
The role will be a mix of BAU reporting and projects, and key responsibilities include:
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills, and solid knowledge of accounting and financial reporting.
You will need an interest in complexity and commercial analysis, along with the ability to be forward-thinking and look strategically at the financials.
Experience of FX, cashflow management and an understanding of margins are all highly desirable, as is experience in BI solutions, reporting tools and financial systems.
The Role

- Leadership and development of a small international team as part of a larger global finance team
- Lead on budgeting, rolling forecasting and business reviews
- Partner with regional leadership teams to review business performance and challenge decisions with data-driven insights
- Analysis of financial and operational KPIs, identifying trends and making recommendations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on growth opportunities, investments and performance improvement initiatives
- Drive continuous improvements in finance systems, reporting capabilities and data analytics
